5C 5M 4Y editions 1 and 2 are technical experiments with color and choice using the method of CMYK screen printing. Referencing the titles, I took five varying colors for the cyan layer, five for magenta and four for yellow. Alternating my paper and ink choices every printed page created a space to play and give in to the unknowns of color. Colors reacted to each other, as well as the change in transparency of the papers printed on. Living as a type of process book, these editions represent possibilities for future prints and my own decisions when faced with expanding the categories of what are cyan, magenta and yellow.
